Many more songs have been written since these recordings, that have not yet been committed to – well, we can’t say ‘tape’, or ‘disc’, or even ‘wax’; committed to ‘bytes’ is the modern way. But these recordings represent a good few bytes from the body of my work over a long period.

Much of the performance could be improved, many of the songs could have been handled with more sophistication, but herein lies the evidence of my abilities at particular times, as it is 95% solo work.

2025 update: I decided to teach myself to orchestrate, working with the many ballads. ‘Orchastration’ is the result, using the wonderful modern tools of Steinberg’s Dorico, Wallander Instruments’ Note Performer, Spitfire’s BBC Orchestra and Apple’s Logic Pro. Some also use Dreamtonic’s Synthesizer V to sing those that are beyond my ability.

These orchestrations will no doubt change as I become more proficient.

I hope at least some of it is interesting.
