Calling all Poetry Aloud followers! Elisabeth Rowe will be travelling all the way from Devon to read at the Sudbury Cafe Poets on Wednesday 10th February at 7.30pm.

A colleague and friend of the U.A.Fanthorpe Elisabeth left her teaching job at Cheltenham to become a social worker. Her book 'Surface Tension' was described as showing 'an intense relationship with landscape, a gently satirical exploration of human behavious and a strong elegiac vein'.

We meet in the Hills Room, Gainsborough Museum, Sudbury. After the visiting poet we have refreshments and an open floor for all who wish to read their own or someone else's poem.
