There was once a beautiful ginger cat
Whose tail was so long, and tummy so fat
He could balance a cake on the end of his tail
(although it looked remarkably frail)
and carry four dancers … dancing ballet,
a horse, a goat, and a bundle of hay.
One day the cat was walking by
A farm with a field and a blue pigsty
And one or two hen houses
With little brown hens
Wearing pretty coats
And carrying pens
On spying the cat, the hens turned savage!!
And attacked that poor feline, with a large green cabbage
Then stole his tail with a wave and a “thanks!”
And that’s how the cat became a Manx.
