Someone recently asked me how to add comments. They said they had tried but couldn't see how to submit the comment.

Unfortunately we have to have various protections in place to stop the many bad people out there who are constantly trying to add things we really don't want on the site.

One of these defences is that when you add a comment you do not immediately see a Save button. You are first of all given a Preview button. When you click this you will be shown how your comment will appear. You also have a chance to make further edits at this stage.

You will then be shown the Save button which will post the comment or you can preview it again.

Even so your comment might not immediately appear on the site. As a further defence the comment is queued for a moderator (me) to see if you are commenting anonymously. All being well, the moderator will ok the comment and it will appear then.

If you have an account then login in first and your comment will appear immediately. It will also be properly credited to you.

So comment away! Comments make the site much more interesting!
